Train at your own risk
Read this part even if you skip the rest. 2Failure prescribes weights, reps and a rule that says to take sets to the point where you cannot complete another one. Resistance training carries a real risk of injury, and taking a set to failure carries more of it than stopping short — especially on a loaded barbell, and especially alone.
2Failure is not a coach, a physiotherapist or a doctor, and nothing in it is medical advice. The starting weights it suggests are estimates calculated from your bodyweight and profile, not measurements of what you can lift. Use judgement, use collars and a spotter where a lift needs them, and stop if something hurts. If you have any medical condition, are pregnant, or are returning from injury, talk to a doctor before starting.
You use the app and act on its numbers at your own risk.
The licence
You may use 2Failure on devices you own, for your own training. You may not resell it, redistribute it, or take it apart to make a competing product.
2Failure Pro
Pro is a monthly subscription that unlocks the workout report, two-way Apple Health sync and gains score history. Everything else in the app is free and stays free.
Bought in the app: billing is through your Apple Account. It renews monthly until you cancel, and cancelling is done in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the next renewal. Refunds are Apple's to give.
Bought on this website: billing is through Stripe. It renews monthly until you cancel, and you can cancel from the link in your receipt or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not refund the current period unless the law where you live says otherwise.
If you cancel, you keep every session, record and number you have logged. Those are yours and they were always free. You lose access to the Pro features until you resubscribe.
Your data
Your training data is yours. It lives on your device, we do not hold a copy, and the export button gives you all of it in JSON and CSV at any time. See the privacy policy.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
